Organic Search Marketing
Organic search engine marketing - also known as search engine optimisation or SEO - is the process of enhancing a website's code, content and online presence in order to improve its chances of being discovered via search engines, such as Google and Bing.
Get Found On Google
If your website is missing from those all-important search results then it's time to start working on your SEO and web marketing. To borrow the proverb 'the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is now' pretty much sums up the need to get going asap. But how do you improve your organic SEO and what is SEO anyway?
Knowing where to start with search engine optimisation can be a bit confusing. Swann Digital will work with you to demystify the ins and outs and create a tailor-made solution to your SEO needs, whether your site requires a refresh, a ground-up rework or you'd simply like some one-to-one support or training.
Organic SEO Vs Google Adwords (Pay-Per-Click Advertising -PPC)
If your website is brand-spanking new or has had little time spent on it since its launch then it's highly likely it will have a fairly low rank in the search engine results pages (SERPs), because search engines favour older and more active sites. Google very kindly offer a solution to this problem, however, by offering paid-for ads on their SERPs, which can place your site on the first page.
A tried and tested method of improving traffic to your website is to start by using Google Adwords to maximise exposure in SERPs, whilst at the same time starting to build on your site's organic ranking with news or blog posts, interesting (unique!) content and references (links) from other websites. As your site's organic rank improves, the PPC spend comes down. Hooray!
